Service
Preflights analyzes supplier catalog files and optional Shopify exports and produces a risk report. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Shopify or Google.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload and process the files you submit.
- Do not submit unlawful content, malware, secrets unrelated to the inspection, or unnecessary personal data.
- Keep report links confidential and review findings before changing or importing a live catalog.
- Maintain your own backups and use Shopify’s available previews, warnings, and validation steps.
Reports are decision support, not a guarantee
Preflights uses deterministic checks and heuristics, but supplier data, Shopify behavior, tax treatment, Google requirements, themes, apps, and store configuration can vary. A report may contain false positives, miss an issue, or become outdated. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice, and it does not guarantee that an import will succeed or avoid loss.
Pricing and payments
The price and scope shown at checkout apply to that purchase. Payments are processed by PayPal. If a charge succeeds but a report does not unlock, contact hello@preflights.app with the report link and PayPal order information so it can be reconciled. Refund requests are reviewed based on the circumstances and applicable law; statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
Retention and availability
Raw uploads are used only to run the requested inspection and are not retained after processing; the web server may buffer them temporarily while handling the request. Derived report data and an optional report email are retained for 90 days and then deleted automatically. Save any paid CSV download you need before the report expires. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
Acceptable use
You may not probe or bypass access controls, reuse payments across reports, overload the service, automate abusive submissions, interfere with other users, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that every issue will be detected or that availability will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Preflights is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or catalog changes made without independent review. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
